Healing Touch was created by Janet Mentgen, RN, as a nursing continuing education program designed to bring holistic, compassionate care into professional nursing practice. Today, her vision continues through a standardized, structured educational pathway that prepares nurses and other healthcare professionals to integrate Healing Touch into patient care with skill, confidence, and professionalism.

             
 
The Healing Touch Integrative Care Program (HTICP) is the team that partners with healthcare leaders and organizations to successfully introduce and expand Healing Touch services. Through education, consultation, implementation guidance, and practical resources, we help organizations build sustainable programs that support patients, caregivers, and whole-person care.
